BS 7671
18th Edition wiring regulations
Every installation we sign off is tested against the current IET wiring regulations. Certificates are issued on completion.
We have held NICEIC approved contractor status for over 40 years. Every installation we deliver is specified, installed and certified to BS 7671 (18th Edition) with Part P self-certification for domestic notifiable work. Whether the job is a consumer unit upgrade, a full commercial rewire or a data centre containment build, it meets the same standard and carries a 12 month workmanship warranty.

Standards we work to
Electrical compliance is a paper trail as much as a physical install. Here is what sits behind every certificate we hand over.

Part P
Building regulations for dwellings
Registered under the NICEIC Domestic Installer Scheme. We self-certify domestic notifiable work directly with building control.
UKAS
Accredited certification body
NICEIC is the UKAS-accredited body that audits our work annually. That audit trail is how the certificate you receive holds its weight.
Scope of works
We split our day-to-day work roughly evenly between commercial contracts and domestic callouts. The same engineers, the same standards, scaled to the site.

Maintenance
A new install is one visit. A working estate is a relationship. We price maintenance as its own line item so the numbers are honest, and we pair it with periodic inspection on the same cycle where it makes sense.
Five-yearly landlord EICRs, five or ten year commercial inspections, and one-off reports on purchase or change of use. Schedule of defects with priority coding.
Scheduled visits with agreed scope, parts stocked, and a consistent engineer where possible so the site becomes familiar rather than starting cold each time.
Fault diagnosis, remedial repair and board changes on demand. Out-of-hours coverage for customers with live maintenance contracts.
Service area
Our engineers work out of two offices - Cwmbran (01633 740052) and Cardiff (02920 020139) - and cover the whole of South Wales day-to-day. Cardiff, Newport, Cwmbran, Pontypool, Abergavenny, Monmouth, Caerphilly, Merthyr and the Valleys, through to the western reaches of the M4.
Larger projects and planned maintenance contracts run further afield where the scope justifies the travel.
