Intruder Alarms

Intruder alarm installation for homes and businesses across South Wales.

SSAIB-approved, Grade 2 as standard, insurance compliant. Bespoke wired, wireless and hybrid systems designed around your property rather than bolted onto it - with 24/7 monitoring via our alarm receiving centre when you need it.

How we install

Five steps between the first call and a system that works.

  1. 01

    Site survey

An engineer walks the property, checks wireless signal strength across every zone and identifies the entry points worth protecting. You get a written specification, not a quote off a catalogue.

  2. 02

    System design

We choose wired, wireless or a hybrid based on the building and the disruption you can tolerate. The design meets Grade 2 minimum and the expectations of your insurer.

  3. 03

    Installation

First-fix and second-fix done neatly. Cable runs hidden where possible, wireless devices positioned for reliability, control panel sited where it stays accessible but not conspicuous.

  4. 04

    Commissioning

Every sensor tested, walk-tested and logged. Codes, fobs and app access set up. Keyholder and ARC details loaded, then a full handover so everyone who uses the system knows how.

  5. 05

    Maintenance

Annual service visits keep the system on-grade and keep the insurer happy. 24-hour emergency call-out for when something goes wrong outside of business hours.

System type

Wired, wireless or a bit of both.

We don’t push a single approach. The right system depends on whether walls are finished, whether cabling is realistic and whether you’re upgrading something that’s already there. Here’s how they compare.

Most retrofits

Wireless

Faster and less intrusive to install. Devices communicate over a secure radio network, independent of the building's WiFi. Ideal for finished properties where minimal disruption matters.

  • Minimal cabling, quick install
  • Battery-powered devices with low-battery reporting
  • Easy to expand or reconfigure
Most new builds

Wired

Physical cabling between every device and the control panel. Still our recommendation for commercial projects and first-fix opportunities where cables can be buried in the fabric.

  • No battery replacements on sensors
  • Proven reliability on large sites
  • Ideal when the walls are still open
Upgrades

Hybrid

Wired backbone with wireless sensors where the cabling is impractical. Commonly the right answer when taking over or extending an existing system that works but needs modernising.

  • Preserve working wired kit
  • Add detection where cable runs are hard
  • One panel, one app, one keyholder list

Detection kit

The sensors we fit, and where they go.

The control panel is the brain, but detection is where an intruder system earns its keep. Every install uses a mix of devices chosen for the rooms, openings and occupants of the building - pet-tolerant PIRs where the dog lives, glass-break on vulnerable windows, contacts on doors the insurer cares about.

Option A

Bells-only

Internal sounder and external sounder with a 100db siren plus strobe. When the system triggers it announces itself to anyone within earshot and flags the property as a target that isn’t easy.

Lowest ongoing cost, no monitoring fees, but response depends on neighbours or keyholders noticing.

Option B

ARC-monitored

Signal goes to our alarm receiving centre the moment the system fires. Operators follow the response plan you agreed at install - ring the keyholder list, notify police on verified confirmation, log everything.

The right answer for commercial premises, larger homes and anyone whose insurer requires a police URN.

Works with the rest of your security

One panel, one app, one keyholder list.

An intruder alarm is more useful when it talks to the rest of the site’s security. We install the whole stack in-house so the integration actually happens.

Upgrading, taking over or starting from scratch?

We inherit existing kit after a single site survey, or start fresh if that’s the smarter call. Either way, survey and written quote are free.
